Chase was there when the Komets first made the playoffs in the old IHL in 1954. He continues today behind the Komet microphone as he began his 54th playoff season broadcasing the Komets 4-2 home win last night over Kalamazoo. It was the first game of his 99th post-season series radio rinkside.
