
Blues Sign Lampman, Rivermen Add Dahm

PEORIA, Ill. (July 29, 2009) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has signed defenseman Bryce Lampman. In addition, Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald has announced the signing of goaltender Sebastian Dahm.
Lampman, 26, skated in nine games with Amur Khabarovsk in Russia last season, registering four penalty minutes. The 6-1, 205-pound defenseman has played in 10 National Hockey League games, all with the New York Rangers, recording two penalty minutes.
The majority of his career has been spent in the American Hockey League with the Hartford Wolfpack. In total he has played in 327 AHL contests and recorded 26 goals and 71 assists. He last played in North America during the 2007-08 season when he split time between the Norfolk Admirals and the Iowa Stars. The Rochester, Minnesota native was originally drafted by the Rangers in the fourth round, 113th overall in the 2001 Entry Draft.
Dahm, 22, made his professional debut with the Syracuse Crunch last season and was 10-11-0 with a 2.66 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage. He also spent five games with the Johnstown Chiefs (ECHL).
A native of Copenhagen, Denmark he was the first Danish goaltender to ever play in the Canadian Hockey League. In three seasons, Dahm was traded three times and played for four teams in the Ontario Hockey League. He compiled a record of 52-55-13 with a 3.18GAA while playing for Belleville, Sarnia, Sudbury, and Niagara. During the 2007 playoffs he backstopped the Sudbury Wolves to the OHL finals.
Dahm was the netminder for Team Denmark in the 2006 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships that earned the Danish team a promotion to the top flight.
