Bristol Blues News Release
The Blues hosted the Pittsfield Suns last night, July 3, in front of an attendance of 3,033 people, the highest attendance this season for the Blues. Unfortunately, the Blues could not take advantage of the excitement as they fell to the Blues by a score of 3-0.
Starting pitcher for the Blues, Troy Terzi (Post University) was scored the loss after he was able to pitch six innings allowing no earned runs, but one unearned run, on five hits. Terzi added four strikeouts to the stat line and the outing dropped his ERA down to 2.05. Winning pitcher for the Pittsfield Suns was Robert Anderson with Dom Grillo earning the save for the Blues.
The Blues are back in action tonight, the Fourth of July, to host the North Shore Navigators. First pitch is at 7pm and be sure to stay afterwards to catch the Fourth of July Fireworks.
