Bristol Blues News Release
With a two game break going in tonight's game the Blues look to carry the momentum they had entering the break. Sadly, that was not the case as the Blues were downed by the North Shore Navgators by a score of 5-2.
Blues starting pitcher was George Lund who was able to last six innings and only allowed two runs as he was given the no decision.
Blues new coming pitcher Ryan Lauria was given the loss as Lauria went an inning and gave up three runs on only two hits. The Navigators winning pitcher was Tim Superko who only had to face one batter for the win. North Shore pitcher Speros Varinos was given the save for the winning team.
The Blues hope to bounce back tomorrow, June 24, as they head to Doyle Field to play the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm.
