Bluefish celebrate Memorial Day with early start time

Bridgeport Conn. – The Bridgeport Bluefish will take on the Newark Bears on Monday May 30, at 3:05 p.m. The earlier start time is geared to help our fans commemorate Memorial Day, enjoying the holiday with the traditional baseball game and to be home early to prepare for the work week.

Monday is also "Connecticut Post Readers Day", the first 2,000 people to come to the ticket window on Monday with a copy of the Connecticut Post from that day will receive one free ticket into the ballpark.

The Bluefish are currently first in the North Division and lead the league with an impressive 16-11 record entering their weekend series against the Atlantic City Surf at the Sandcastle. When the team returns home on Monday for a four game series against the Newark Bears, there will be plenty to do at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard.

Monday's game will start at 3:05 p.m., Wednesday June 1st is Kid's Day Bubblicious Giveaway sponsored by Crown Theaters with the game starting at 10:35 a.m. Thursday June 2nd is Hispanic Heritage Night at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard sponsored by Compare Foods. Join the Bluefish as they wear their Puerto Rican uniforms and celebrate Hispanic Heritage with food, music and dancing.
