
BlueClaws to Host Job-Fair On February 10th

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Lakewood BlueClaws will host their annual job fair on Saturday February 10th from 9:30 am - 2 pm at FirstEnergy Park, in the BlueClaws Executive Conference Center. Anyone interested in a part-time seasonal position on the game-day staff must come to the stadium to complete the application and interview process.
Possible jobs include a wide variety of concessions positions, attendants in the kids area and parking, as well as ushers and ticket-takers.
Applications are available on-line at www.BlueClaws.com or at FirstEnergy Park. They can be downloaded or picked up in advance, and then applicants can bring them to the job fair. There will also be applications available at the job fair to be filled out. All applicants will be interviewed by the BlueClaws staff.
"Hosting almost 450,000 people over the course of a summer is no small task. Every person that works with the BlueClaws adds something to the overall experience of taking in a game," says BlueClaws general manager Geoff Brown. "We hope to get a great turnout at our job fair to get the best possible candidates to work with us this year."
All applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
The Lakewood BlueClaws are defending South Atlantic League Champions and open the 2007 season April 5, 2007 at FirstEnergy Park at 6:35 p.m. against the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
The BlueClaws have led the league in attendance every year, adding 448,310 fans in 2006. This season, the BlueClaws will become the fastest team in South Atlantic League and New Jersey baseball history to reach the 3 million fan attendance mark.
