Wilmington Blue Rocks News Release
FREDERICK, MD- A late afternoon thunderstorm spelled trouble, as the Wilmington Blue Rocks and Frederick Keys have been rained out. The game will be made up as part of a Saturday doubleheader at Harry Grove Stadium. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. with the second game coming afterwards.
The Blue Crew will stick with its regularly scheduled rotation for the twinbill. Kyle Zimmer (0-2, 4.03) will pitch game one, and looks to build off five no-hit innings in his last start against Lynchburg. Lefty John Lamb (2-3, 4.88) takes the ball in game two. Fans can listen to the broadcast on 89.7 WGLS-FM, or on Bluerocks.com. Wilmington returns to the Riverfront on May 17, when it begins a six-game homestand against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
