
Blue Names Bradford Burgess Assistant Coach

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Blue has named Bradford Burgess an assistant coach on Head Coach Grant Gibbs' staff, the team announced today.
Burgess comes to the Blue after spending the 2019-20 season as a performance analyst for the Thunder. Prior to joining the organization, the Midlothian, Va. native enjoyed a six-year professional basketball career overseas after graduating from VCU with a degree in sociology in 2012. While at VCU, he started in 146 games, earning a 108-38 (.740) record, a 2011 Final Four appearance and is one of five players to have his jersey retired.
Burgess joins returning assistant coaches Daniel Brady, Eric Maynor and Caliph Mohammed.
