Jupiter, FL- Jesse Litsch (1-0) stifled Palm Beach's offense and threw seven scoreless innings to lead Dunedin over the Cardinals 7-0. Litsch, who is with Dunedin on a Major League rehab assignment, scattered four hits and struck out five to help snap the Blue Jays three-game losing streak. It was his first appearance since being shut down in April of 2009 after undergoing Tommy John Surgery.

Brian Broderick (2-4) struggled and allowed seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and struck out three. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA in his last two starts.

The bottom third of Dunedin's lineup accounted for most of the damage, going 7-for-12 (.583) and driving in four of the seven runs. Blue Jays catcher Yan Gomes had a strong game at the plate and finished 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Jon Talley and Wellinton Ramirez each finished with two hits.

Dunedin limited Palm Beach to four hits, all singles. Richard Racobaldo extended his on-base streak to 14 games with a single in the sixth inning. Alex Castellanos, Jose Garcia, and Xavier Scruggs accounted for the other three hits.
