OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 1, 2014 - The Oklahoma City Blue fell to the Bakersfield Jam, 107-103, on Monday despite Oklahoma City Thunder assignment players Grant Jerrett and Mitch McGary combining for 37 points and 20 rebounds.

McGary led the Blue in both scoring and rebounds with 21 points and 11 boards in 24 minutes. Jerrett added 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes while shooting 3-of-5 from behind the three-point line.

Marquis Teague collected 18 points and nine assists and Michael Jenkins scored 13 points alongside three assists. Off the bench, Talib Zanna recorded 11 points and eight boards

The Blue controlled the opening half, leading by as many as 13 and taking a 59-50 lead into halftime behind a combined 31 points from Jerrett and McGary. Bakersfield outscored OKC 27-17 in the third quarter to head into the fourth up 77-76.

The Jam built an 86-76 lead early in the final frame before the Blue tied the game at 87 on an 11-1 run. Bakersfield re-took the lead and held a 97-91 advantage heading into the final two minutes, but the Blue fought back to make it a one-point game with 46 seconds remaining. The Jam held off OKC with three made free throws in the final 13 seconds.

"We played tooth and nail and our team gave it everything they had," said Blue Head Coach Mark Daigneault. "That's all you can ask for as a coach and they did that tonight."

The Blue (2-4) forced 27 turnovers, including 16 off of steals.

Bakersfield (5-3) was led by Elijah Milsap and Jamil Wilson, who each scored 22 points.
