Blue Crabs Unveil Top 25 Promotions

For the 5th Anniversary Season of Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball, the team has made a huge effort to provide many more promotions, giveaways, and appearances than ever before! With the launch of our 5th Anniversary 5 for $55 Opening Day Packages, the Blue Crabs will be announcing the top 25 promotions for this season in a five part series. The first part will start with #25 through #21, and each week after the team will unveil 5 more, counting down to the top promotion.

"This season won't be like any other in the history of our franchise. Our front office has worked incredibly hard to put together a promotional schedule that not only blankets our schedule with additional value, but provides some really unique experiences that you aren't going to get anywhere else," said Blue Crabs Assistant General Manager Brian Radle. "We really think our fans in Southern Maryland are going to feel great about what's in store for the 5th Anniversary Season in 2012."

#21. Tote Bag Giveaway, Inaugural Stitch & Pitch, Silver Slugger game, $5 off tickets for fans ages 50 and older: On Tuesday, June 26, the first 1,000 adults age 21 and older will receive a Blue Crabs Tote Bag, thanks to Cedar Lane Apartments. Fans will be able to participate in our first ever "Stitch & Pitch" event during the game. And if you are really good at multi-tasking, you can do the Stitch & Pitch and win prizes with Baseball Bingo at the same time! The game is also a Senior Citizen Tuesday presented by Cedar Lane Apartments which offers $5 off field box tickets for fans age 50 and older.

#22. Chick-fil-A Backfin Buddies Kids Club Games: Every Sunday at Regency Furniture Stadium will offer great experiences for kids, especially with two great additions: $5 off tickets for kids 12 and under and FREE admission to the PNC Kids Zone every Sunday! All ten Sunday home games will also be Chick-fil-A Backfin Buddies Kids Club games. For just $15 members will receive a 5th Anniversary Blue Crabs Tin Lunch Box and one FREE ticket to all 10 Sunday games.

#23. Buzz Lightyear & Woody Appearance, Silver Slugger Tuesday w/ bring your grandkids for FREE night, $5 off tickets for fans ages 50 and older: To Regency Furniture Stadium and Beyond!! ! Tuesday, June 19th will be a great time for both kids and seniors and we want to encourage that time spent together with Grandparents and kids. Buzz Lightyear and Woody from Disney's Toy Story will be here for a FREE photo session with fans during the game. The game is also a Senior Citizen Tuesday presented by Cedar Lane Apartments which offers $5 off field box tickets for fans age 50 and older. It's also a Silver Sluggers presented by Hearing Professionals game featuring a bring your grandkids for FREE (up to four tickets) offer for all members.

#24. 22 Post-Game Fireworks Shows! There is really something great about summer time, baseball and fireworks. On 22 different home games this season, we will be lighting up the sky at Regency Furniture Stadium after Blue Crabs games. We are also taking fireworks to another level this year. On three different dates, we will be having themed fireworks that will be uniquely orchestrated along with an amazing soundtrack: "Elvis" on Opening Night, April 26, "Batman" on July 20, and "Star Wars" on September 7.

#25. Hearing Professionals Silver Sluggers Games: Senior Citizen Tuesdays at Regency Furniture Stadium will be provide many great perks for our "more experienced" fans, with Baseball Bingo, Senior Spotlights, and $5 off field box tickets for fans ages 50 and older thanks to Cedar Lane Apartments. Back for another season is the popular Silver Sluggers program presented by Hearing Professionals. For just $40 Silver Sluggers members will receive a Silver Sluggers T-Shirt, one FREE ticket to all 11 Tuesday games (plus 5 additional games), a Bingo Card for every Tuesday, along with exclusive events just for seniors!

The next 5 promotions will be announced next Monday, March 12 and every Monday thereafter until all 25 promotions have been announced.
