
Blue Bombers Sign Versatile Defender Marshall

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed import defensive back Dekota Marshall, the team announced today.
Marshall (6-1, 203, East Carolina, DOB: October 25, 1987 in Jacksonville, NC) was a very versatile defender with the Pirates, starting games at corner, nickel, free safety and strong safety despite missing almost a full year and a half due to injury. He finished his collegiate career with 49 tackles, one interception, seven pass knockdowns and one forced fumble and has since spent time with the Philadelphia Soul and the Evansville Rage of the Arena Football League. While with the Rage, Marshall played in nine games and registered 57 tackles, seven interceptions and 15 pass knockdowns along with one receiving touchdown and two rushing majors.
