Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Football Club today announced that, while quantities last, single game, on-campus parking passes are now on sale for all ten home games at Investors Group Field this season.

At $20 each, single game parking passes can be purchased in advance directly from the south box office at Investors Group Field. Cash parking may also be available on game days, including tomorrow's Exhibition Game, but will be limited, so fans are encouraged to arrive a full 90 minutes prior to kick off to ensure they have the best chance at securing on-campus parking.

All fans who purchase single game parking passes MUST:

- Enter the campus through University Crescent ONLY;

- Access campus no earlier than 90 minutes prior to kickoff;

- Ensure parking pass is hung on rear view mirror;

- Exit via University Crescent.

"We are pleased to offer fans additional parking options," said Jim Bell, vice president and chief operating officer for the Winnipeg Football Club, "and encourage all drivers to consider car-pooling, just as church-goers did for the One Heart service."

Bell said car-pooling worked wonderfully not only as an effective traffic management tool but also because it was enviro-friendly. Other ways for fans to go ‘green' for the Big Blue include:

- Park & Ride with a new south-end option added at the St. Norbert Hotel;

- Paid parking in private Booster lots along/near Pembina Highway;

- Running Back Shuttle running near Booster parking lots before and after games;

- City-wide Fan Fare service plus Blue and Gold Express;

- Secure and monitored Bike Valet near the north Doug Brown gate;

- Bus shuttles from private restaurants and lounges (check your favourite spots).
