Blue Bombers and Dufresne Announce Dream Day at IG Field

WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are partnering with Dufresne Furniture & Appliances and Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) Winnipeg to provide 30 newly immigrated children and local kids in need with an unforgettable experience and the gift of a better night's rest.
The seventh Dream Day will take place at IG Field on Saturday, August 19th, 2023.
Dream Day includes:
* A Dream Kit complete with a personalized Blue Bombers jersey and Bombers merchandise
* On-field activities with players, mascots, and the cheer & dance team
* A pizza party
* A movie night on the field
* A big surprise for each attendee: a new bed will be given to each of the 30 children in attendance
"Every child deserves to be in the spotlight, and we are honoured to offer that experience this weekend," said Wade Miller, President & CEO of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. "Dream Day is packed full of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, like playing on the turf at IG Field with Blue Bombers players and watching a movie on their own brand-new beds on the field."
At Sleep by Dufresne, a portion of every mattress sold supports the Dream Big Foundation which gives beds to people in need across Canada.

Dufresne Furniture and Appliance and Sleep in Heavenly Peace Winnipeg have been working together to end sleeplessness and helping kids Dream Big since 2021.
