
Blue Bombers Add Two to Roster

WINNIPEG, MB., January 21, 2014 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced today the signings of import defensive back Josh Francis and non-import wide receiver Julian Feoli-Gudino. As per team policy, details of the agreement are not disclosed.
Francis (6-0, 228, West Virginia, November 30, 1990 in Demascus, Maryland) played two seasons at West Virginia, and totaled 4.5 sacks, 54 tackles, and 39 solo tackles. Francis originally went to West Virginia as an All-American junior college transfer and started both years there.
Feoli-Gudino (6-0, 200, Laval, June 22, 1987 in San Jose, Costa Rica) was originally drafted 38th overall by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft. He returned to school for his final year of eligibility the following season and signed with the Argos for the 2012 season . Feoli-Gudino played in seven games with the Argonauts in 2012, mainly on special teams. He also played sparingly in a special teams role in 2013 with the Argos. He spent five seasons as a starter at Laval Rouge et Or (2007-2011), finishing his career as the second-leading pass catcher in CIS history (238) and with the twelfth-most receiving yards (2,756). He was a four-Time First-Team QUFL All-Star and two-time All-Canadian. In 2008, he was named the MVP of the Vanier Cup game when he scored a 74-yard punt return touchdown and an 82-yard receiving touchdown.
