Blue Bombers Add Three to Roster

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed import defensive lineman Alex Hall, import linebacker Terrell Parker and import defensive back Demond Washington, the team announced today.

Hall (6-5, 250, St. Augustine's, DOB: August 17, 1985 in Glenarden, Maryland) was drafted in the seventh round (231st overall) by the Cleveland Browns in 2008 and played in 16 games as a rookie, including two starts, recording 28 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles. He suited up in 14 games the following season before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. Hall spent the 2010 preseason with the New York Giants but was among the team's final cuts and was signed by the Arizona Cardinals before being re-claimed by the Giants and appearing in two games, registering one tackle. Hall finished his collegiate career as St. Augustine's all-time leader in sacks with 25.5 and tackles for loss with 54. He was a two-time First Team All-CIAA and two-time Division II All-American.

Parker (5-11, 220, Glenville State, DOB: October 22, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland) started 40 games over four seasons at Glenville State and recorded 287 tackles, 53 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, 10 interceptions, five forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and two blocked kicks over that span. He was an All-American at his position as a junior and was voted All-Conference for three straight years from 2007-2009. Parker signed with the Assindia Cardinals of the German Football League in 2010 and started all 12 games recording 92 tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, one sack and two interceptions.

Washington (5-9, 182, Auburn, DOB: September 30, 1987 in Tallahassee, Alabama) signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2011 and recorded four tackles and one kickoff return for 21 yards in the preseason before being among the team's final cuts. He played in 27 games at Auburn, capturing the National Championship as a senior and tallied 91 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, three interceptions and one fumble recovery during his collegiate career. Washington also served as the team's primary kick returner, recording 1,117 return yards which ranked him fourth in the country during his senior season.
