
Blue Bombers Add Non-Import Running Back Riva to Practice Roster

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed non-import running back Nathan Riva to their practice roster.
Riva (5-11, 195, Western Ontario, DOB: September 27, 1989 in LaSalle, Ontario) played four seasons for the University of Western Ontario and carried the ball 92 times for 568 yards and nine touchdowns in his senior season. He played in only three games in 2010 but had a breakout sophomore season in 2009, carrying the ball 98 times for 606 yards and 10 touchdowns. Riva signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and attended their training camp after going undrafted in 2012.
