The Blowfish got things started early at the plate. Federico Castagnini led the game off with a homerun to left field and the Blowfish offense was off and running. After Castagnini homered Graham Saiko walked and later scored on a Zach Smith singe to left centerfield off of Steamers starting pitcher Ryan Woodring. Woodring went just two innings allowing two runs on two hits while striking out three. Woodring would be charged with the loss.

The Blowfish extended their ead to three in the fourth when Tre-Von Johnson reached on a wild pitch after striking out. Stuart Pound then made the Steamers pay sending a two run blast over the center field wall to take a 4-1 lead. The Blowfish would add another run in the fifth when Saiko homored over the left field fence.

The Blowfish bullpen was again solid Thursday night. Wyatt Brown gave the Bowfish two scoreless innings to get the win. Zack Russell-Myers then pitched two scoreess innings of his own allowing two hits. Connor Sullivan pitched the eighth giving up just one hit and Joshua Knab pitched the ninth. Knab would find himself in trouble by loading the bases but was able to escape the jam and preserve the 5-1 win.
