Lexington County, S.C. (May 19, 2015) - The Lexington County Blowfish have announced the first three families to be honored as the Military Family of the Night at Lexington County Baseball Stadium. The families of retired Captain Dan Hennigan, Sgt. 1st Class Jose Rosario and Sgt. 1st Class Charles Boone will be honored during a pregame ceremony on opening night.

Partnering with Friends of Military Families, LLC, the USO, and Grow Financial, each honored family will throw a ceremonial first pitch, receive tickets for field-level box seats, and hot dogs and Coca-Cola. They will also be honored and acknowledged during the game by all of the fans in attendance.

Hennigan, a retired Army veteran, will be honored along with his wife, Cindi. They also have two sons, Brian, and Jason (U.S. Army/Coast Guard).

Hennigan serves as the program chairman of the Lexington County Rotary Club, a board member of the Harbour Watch community, an honorary Lexington County deputy sheriff, and the founder of the "South Carolina Remembers 9/11 Student Essay Contest."

Hennigan served in the Army for over 35 years. He was recently honored by the South Carolina General Assembly on April 30, 2014, for his service to the Lexington community.

Rosario has served as a member of the Army for 16 years. He will be honored along with his wife, Angie, and their four children, Carolina, Yasmin, Jackie and Javier.
