Bloomington Extreme Schedule is out

December 7, 2005 - United Indoor Football Association (UIF)
Bloomington Extreme News Release

Bloomington, Illinois - The United Indoor Football League has announced the league schedule and the Extreme will begin its inaugural season on March 25th on the road against the Peoria Rough Riders. The first home game will be played on April 1st against Fort Wayne Freedom at 7:00pm.

"We're thrilled with the schedule because we don't have too many long road trips to make and almost all of our games are on a Saturday, which is ideal for our players that have full time jobs," said Head Coach Ted Schmitz.

The Bloomington Extreme will be playing the Rockford Raptors three times this season, twice on the road. They will play each of the following teams twice, Peoria Rough Riders, Lexington Horsemen, Evansville Bluecats, Ohio Valley Greyhounds and Omaha Beef.

Schmitz and Assistant Head Coach Mike Murray are continuing to meet with prospective players in the region and are looking foward to tryouts on December 17th at Illinois Wesleyan Shirk Center. "We're hoping to see some great talent during tryouts," said Murray. "Things are moving forward as we continue to sign players to bring a first-class team to Bloomington."
