Green Bay Blizzard News Release
The Pink footballs are back! During this Friday night's game, when the Green Bay Blizzard take on the Peoria Pirates in a Midwest Division match up, you will not see the normal blue-striped footballs on the field. The teams will be playing with pink-striped footballs for the cancer awareness night with the Green Bay Blizzard as part of "A Noble Cause Night".
Not only will there be pink footballs on the field to benefit cancer awareness, the team will be holding a celebrity jersey raffle/auction, with all proceeds benefiting "A Noble Cause," a charity started by Blizzard owner Brian Noble and his family.
Morning Glory is sponsoring "Coins for Cancer." As fans enter the Resch Center they can pick up a Morning Glory Milk Jug. Fans can then put change in the bottles and use it as a noise maker throughout the game and then drop them off in the allotted barrels as they leave the Resch Center. Proceeds from the "Coins for Cancer" will also benefit A Noble Cause.
Friday night's game will also feature a Brian Noble Bobblehead Giveaway sponsored by Fox Communities Credit Union. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at Ticketstar by calling 800-895-0071, online at www.ticketstaronline.com or by visiting the Resch Center Box Office.
