Blizzard Re-Sign Wide Receiver Mike Green Jr.

The Green Bay Blizzard have announced the re-signing of wide receiver Mike Green Jr. for the 2024 season.
Green Jr. (5-11, 175), entering his second year in the Indoor Football League, joined the Blizzard in free agency September 2023. He appeared in 11 contests for Green Bay in the 2023 season, putting up 17 receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Green was also a mainstay in the return game for the Blizzard, fielding 37 kicks for 646 yards and taking one back for a touchdown. His kickoff return touchdown against Quad City in Week 11 helped him earn recognition as the IFL Special Teams Player of the Week. Green was also voted as the Green Bay Blizzard Co-Special Teams MVP by his teammates and coaches in 2023.
Green Jr. is a native of Albany, Georgia and played collegiately at Albany State University. He was a basketball player for the first four years of his college career before making the switch to football in his final year of eligibility.
"Mike Green showed flashes of being one of the explosive players in the IFL," Blizzard head coach Corey Roberson said. We are excited to have him back as we hope to build on his performance from a season ago, especially on special teams."
