
Blizzard Part Ways with Coach Williams

Green Bay, WI (November 2, 2015) - The Green Bay Blizzard and Head Coach Tommie Williams have mutually agreed to part ways.
"This was a difficult decision, one that we as owners did not take lightly. Tommie has been a great friend and will remain part of our Blizzard family. We know he will be successful in his future endeavors and will help him in any way possible, "Owner Kathy Treankler.
Williams took over as the Blizzard head coach halfway through the 2014 season. He began to turn things around winning two out of the last three games and carried that momentum into 2015. "Tommie helped in a difficult transition when we first became owners and we will forever be grateful" stated Owner Larry Treankler. The Blizzard was in contention for playoffs until the last game of the regular season, when they finishing 6-8.
The Blizzard are looking to build off the foundation started by Coach Williams and look forward to competing for a playoff spot in 2016.
About the Green Bay Blizzard: The Green Bay Blizzard is a professional indoor football team founded in 2003. The Blizzard play in the United Conference of the Indoor Football League and play their home games on Aurora BayCare Freeze Field at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
