Tri-Cities Fever News Release
The Tri-Cities Fever made a trade with the Minnesota Havok that will send QB Jon Wolf to the Havok. In exchange the Fever will receive DB Bradley Njoku.
Wolf both lives and is finishing his collegiate career in Mankato.
"This is a trade that makes sense for everyone involved. Everyone wins. Wolf gets to play in front of his home crowd in Mankato and Njoku will stay in the Northwest and hopes to have some Vandal fans in attendance at the Fever games," stated Fever Head Coach, Ryan Lingenfelder.
Njoku, a free safety, played his entire college career at the University of Idaho. During the 2013 season, Njoku played all 12 games at the free safety position and was the Vandals' second-leading tackler with 89 (71 solo, 18 assists). He led the team in solo stops recording three tackles for loss, two pass breakups, one interception, one quarterback hurry and one fumble recovery.
In both his 2012 and 2011 seasons, Bradley played in all games chalking up 43 total tackles (21 solo and 22 assists), one interception and a half tackle for loss, and in 2011 he played on special teams and in the secondary, recording 23 total tackles (nine solo and 14 assists), a 37-yard interception returned for a TD and a recorded one pass breakup as well.
Bradley Njoku was an invitee and attendee at the 2015 NFL Detroit Lion rookie mini-camp.
The Tri-Cities Fever is a member of the Indoor Football League, playing its home games at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Washington.
