Blizzard Update: Green Bay had a bye this past weekend after an impressive home opener the previous week against Cedar Rapids. The Blizzard opened their home schedule with a 64-12 win over Cedar Rapids on March 9th. The Blizzard dominated early and jumped out to a 33-0 halftime lead. The defense created six turnovers including an interception on the Titans first play from scrimmage. The defense was led by linebacker Greg Jackson. The IFL Defensive Player of the Week had nine tackles and two interceptions, returning one 50 yards for a touchdown. The Blizzard defense also received major contributions from BJ Hill (2 interceptions) and Aaron Moore (7 tackles, 1 interception). Wide receiver Scott Burnoski and running back La'Ron Council paced the offense with three touchdowns each.

Beef Update: Omaha will be playing their third game in 13 days. The Beef outlasted Wyoming last week for a 54-52 victory. The Beef scored 23 points in the second quarter and 21 in the fourth to secure the win. The rookie replacements had a difficult time filling in the defensive backfield. Omaha veteran quarterback James McNear completed 23 of 28 passes for 253 yards and five touchdowns. McNear's favorite target was running back Tory Harrison. He had 8 receptions for 79 yards and a touchdown. Harrison also rushed 12 times for 84 yards and another touchdown.

Series: The two teams have faced each other one time. Green Bay edged Omaha 50-49 in 2010 at the Resch Center. Wide receiver Scott Burnoski wrestled the ball away from two Omaha defenders in the back of the end zone as time expired for the game winning touchdown.
