Green Bay Blizzard News Release

Green Bay, WI - The Blizzard (4-10) will take on the Tri-Cities Fever (3-10) this Friday night on Aurora Baycare Freeze Field at the Resch Center. Kickoff is set for 7:05pm. Both teams met just 2 weeks ago in Kennewick, WA where the Blizzard prevailed 63-39.

In their most complete game of the season, the Blizzard rolled up 367 yards of offense and forced 4 Fever turnovers in the blowout win. Quarterback Matt Behrendt tossed 5 touchdown passes and ran for 3 more in a performance that earned him IFL Offensive Player of the Week.

The passing combination of Behrendt and wide receiver Markeith Summers has been one of the highlights this season. Behrendt has passed for 2,386 yards and 52 touchdowns while Summers has caught 41 passes for 658 yards and 20 scores. Another bright spot in the season is the play of kick returner Chevelle Buie. With his electrifying speed and quickness, Buie keeps fans on the edge of their seats during kickoffs. He's averaged over 20 yards per return and 3 have gone for touchdowns.
