The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 16 of the 2016 IFL season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Korey Williams (RB/WR, Sioux Falls Storm)
The Sioux Falls Storm defeated the Colorado Crush 72-59 in Week 16 and secured their 13th victory of the season. RB Korey Williams was a dynamic force for the Storm as he scored each and every one of the Storm's early touchdowns. Williams (5'11,175, Northwestern Oklahoma State) scored four times in the first half, all from the ground, as he added touchdown runs of 8,3,16 and 1 yard. Later in the third quarter, Williams scored twice more on back-to-back Storm possessions. Williams finished his night with 107 rushing yards on 12 rushes and five rushing touchdowns. He also added three catches for 26 yards and another touchdown. In total, Williams finished the night scoring six touchdowns, tying him with the second most in a single game in the IFL this season. Williams, who leads the IFL in all-purpose yards, and the Storm travel to face the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 17.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Robert Brown (DB, Spokane Empire)
The Spokane Empire secured the number seed in the Intense Conference in Week 16 by knocking off the Billings Wolves 51-41. The Empire defense locked down the Wolves offense forcing three turnovers. Key to the Empire's defensive effort was DB Robert Brown. Brown (5'10,175, Union) scrambled all over the field as he not only intercepted two passes but also led the Empire with ten tackles. Brown proved adept once the ball was in his hands as he returned his two interceptions for 65 yards, giving the Empire offense great field position. Brown's Defensive Player of the Week selection comes just a week after his brother, Rob Brown of the Tri-Cities Fever, was named IFL Special Teams Player of the Week. The Spokane Empire travel to face the Nebraska Danger in Week 17.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyler Williams (KR, Wichita Falls Nighthawks)
The Wichita Falls Nighthawks continue their impressive season as they have clinched their first ever IFL playoff berth after defeating the Green Bay Blizzard 81-40 in Week 16. Nighthawks KR Tyler Williams (5'7, 175, Akron) once again proved to be one of the most dynamic players in the IFL as he adds a fourth player of the week selection to his resume in Week 16. Williams started the night in explosive fashion as he retuned the opening kickoff of the game 36 yards for a touchdown. Williams later added three more touchdowns on the night to help give the Nighthawks a 41 point victory, the team's largest of the season. Williams finished his night with six kick returns for 126 yards and a touchdown, 24 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown, 113 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. The Nighthawks playmaker also had 13 receptions in the game, the second-most by any player in the IFL this season. Wichita Falls hosts the Colorado Crush in Week 17.
