Blizzard Add Veteran Lineman Zach Fondal
January 21, 2019 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Green Bay Blizzard News Release
Green Bay Blizzard head coach and general manager Corey Roberson has added an offensive lineman to the roster, signing 6-5, 300-pound Texas native Zach Fondal.
Fondal, who has extensive indoor professional football experience in two leagues, played a season at the University of Kansas of the Big 12 Conference before finishing his college career at NCAA Division II Angelo State in 2014.
Since then, Fondal has played for the now-defunct San Angelo Bandits of the Champions Indoor League, the Salt Lake Eagles of the Indoor Football League and the Kansas City Phantom of the CIF (last season).
"Zach gives us another quality lineman to add to the mix up front," said Roberson. "He's played a lot of football over the past six years, so he brings good experience as well as physical ability to our program."
