Blitz Season Tickets Go on Sale

Bakersfield, Calif. – The Bakersfield Blitz of the af2 have announced packages and pricing for season tickets to the upcoming season. The team awaits the release of the complete 2004 schedule for its third season in af2. The office number for the Blitz is now (661) 716-BLITZ (2548).

Full season packages for the Blitz range from $63 to $315. Individual seats for Blitz games have been lowered in four of the six seating levels, with the other two remaining the same. The greatest decrease in ticket pricing is in the Front Row level, which has dropped to $35 (a savings of $10 per seat). End Zone tickets have dropped to just $15 (formerly $20) and include the majority of the lower level. Terrace seats have also dropped to just $9. The full seating price list is below.

Each full season ticket package includes all eight regular season games and the first playoff game at Centennial Garden, plus the annual Blitz Bowl high school all-star game at no charge. Front Row seating is classified as Row A of the entire lower level seating area. Front Row season tickets have dropped from $360 to $315. The Club Zone seating is the same as with the Condors, including the middle sections 104, 105, 112 and 113 (excluding Row A). There will also be new Family Sections in 102 and 200 in which no alcohol will be served.

The Blitz and Condors have also teamed up for special discounts for those purchasing packages for both teams. All Condors season ticket holders can receive 25% off a Blitz package containing the same number of seats. In addition, any Blitz season ticket holders who purchase pro-rated Condors season seats by January 30th will receive the 25% Blitz discount.

"We think Blitz fans are going to be happy with the new packages," said Blitz GM Chris Freshour. "We've changed some pricing and dropped some of the rates to reflect our desire for affordable family entertainment. Our new family sections will better that cause as well. We also wanted to reward our loyal Condors fans by basically offering two free games to them for their shared support of both hockey and football. The countdown is on for our 2004 Kickoff!"

Extra Points: Details are coming on the 2004 Blitz Bowl. The annual event features high school stars from the past season participating in an All-Star Arena Football game at Centennial Garden... The official team website, www.bakersfieldblitz.com, is also awaiting some minor construction. It's expected to be updated and running fully in the near future.
