BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield Blitz are excited to announce the 2007 Blitz Girlz dance team. The Blitz Girlz will perform during all 8 home games at Rabobank Arena and represent the organization at community events and activities around Bakersfield and Kern County.

This year's team features 13 of the most talented dancers in Bakersfield. The 2007 team has a combined 22 years of experience with the Blitz. Many of the dancers are Kern County natives, coming from high schools such as Bakersfield High School, Highland, East High, Stockdale, South High, Wasco High School and Delano High School.

Taryn Green will serve as the Dance Coordinator for the Blitz Girlz this season. "We have a great group of talented girls this year and we're very excited to start off the new season," said Green.

The Blitz Girlz will make their season debut during the home opener against the Stockton Lightning on Saturday, April 21st at 7:00 p.m. at Rabobank Arena. You can get your season tickets now by calling the Blitz at (661) 377-2548.

Amber Jones (24) Stockdale High School Graduated with a Criminal Justice degree from CSUB

Claudia Rodriguez (23) South High School Graduated with a Communications degree from CSUB

Mia Magdaleno (22) Bakersfield High School Student at Bakersfield College

Amber Estrada (18) Stockdale High School Liberal Studies major at Bakersfield College

Vanessa Lerichi (22) Wasco High School Psychology major at CSUB

Shari Ramey (22) Bakersfield High School Psychology major at CSUB

Christine Martinez (22) South High School Graduated with AA in Medical Assistance from SJVC
