Scott Wasden and Shayne Wiebe scored third-period goals 4 minutes apart to bring the Blazers back from 3-1 down in the final frame with the home side eventually prevailing 4-3 in a shootout on Wednesday night at ISC.
Dan Iwanski and Bryon Froese staked the 'Tips to a 2-0 first-period lead before Kenton Dulle cut the lead to 2-1 after one. Zack Dailey scored the lone goal of the second period on an Everett powerplay for a 3-1 'Tips lead after two. CJ Stretch and Kenton Dulle scored goals in the shootout for the Blazers with Tyler Maxwell providing the only 'Tips goal - Kellan Tochkin was stopped by Justin Leclerc on the last Everett chance.
Final shots were 34-29 Blazers with Justin Leclerc getting the win and Thomas Heemskerk taking the loss.
