October 14, 2010 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Kamloops Blazers News Release
Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have picked up 20-year-old center Shayne Neigum from the Chilliwack Bruins off the 20-year-old waiver wire this afternoon.
"We think adding Shayne to our line-up will improve our grit and competitiveness among our group of forwards. He is a veteran player that we feel will not only help our on ice performance, but be a leader in our locker room," General Manager Craig Bonner said.
Neigum has played 207 WHL games collecting 52 points and 394 penalty minutes with Medicine Hat, Edmonton and Chilliwack.
With the addition of Neigum, the Blazers roster now sits at 25 players including 2 goaltenders, 8 defensemen, and 15 forwards.
