CHILLIWACK, B.C. - The Kamloops Blazers played a great road game in Chilliwack tonight, scoring in the first minute en route to a 4-1 victory over the Bruins. Brady Calla had two goals and one assist for the Blazers in the victory, who also had goals from Brock Nixon and Juuso Puustinen. Evan Pighin was the only Bruin to solve Blazers goalie Justin LeClerc, scoring on a 5 on 3 power play in the 2nd period. Mark Friesen of the Bruins suffers his first regulation loss in goal.
The Bruins next action will be tomorrow night as the Everett Silvertips pay their first visit of the season to the Prospera Centre. Game time is 7 pm, not 5 pm as originally scheduled. The Bruins have moved the start time to accommodate fans who would like to watch the BC Lions in the Western Final. The Bruins wish the Lions the best of luck in their quest for back to back Grey Cup Championships.
