Blazers Add Three Prospects to Roster

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have added 15-year-old forwards Matthew Seminoff and Caedan Bankier along with 16-year-old defenseman Trevor Thurston to the active roster.

Bankier was selected by the Blazers in the third round of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. The 15-year-old plays for the Burnaby Winter Club Midget Prep program and leads his team in scoring with 21 goals, 17 assists and 38 points in 26 games.

Seminoff was selected by the Blazers in the fifth round of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft and plays for the Burnaby Winter Club Elite 15's. The 15-year-old leads his team in scoring with 18 goals, 28 assists and 46 points in 27 games this season.

Thurston was a fourth round pick by the Blazers in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft and plays for the Delta Hockey Academy Midget Prep team. He has four goals and 12 points in 12 games this year.

All three players will practice with the hockey club over the next week and be returned to their Midget teams on January 3rd.
