Blaze Host Underwear Drive for Erskine Fire Victims
July 12, 2016 - California League (CalL1)
Bakersfield Blaze News Release
Starting on Wednesday, July 13, the Bakersfield Blaze will be collecting UNOPENED undergarment packages for those impacted by the Erskine Fire.
According to our sources, victims of the fire have been generously receiving food, funds, and traditional shirts and pants, but undergarments have been in short supply, often forgotten due to their nature.
Any fan bringing an unopened package of underwear (including boxers, briefs, bras, panties, etc.) to Sam Lynn Ballpark from July 13 through July 19 will receive a FREE TICKET to a future Blaze game.
The Blaze front offices are open from 9am until game-time, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday, and will be open from noon until game-time on Saturday and Sunday.
The Blaze box office will be open from 5pm through the conclusion of each of our seven games on this homestand.
Thank you for your help in promoting this Underwear Drive, and we hope to be making a big donation in just over a week!
