Blast Re-Sign Donatelli and Roque

Baltimore, MD - Baltimore Blast Vice President of Soccer Operations, Mike Conway, announced today that the team has re-signed Midfielder and Captain Tony Donatelli as well as veteran Forward Lucas Roque. Per league policy, details of the agreements were not released.

Donatelli, who is entering his ninth season in the MASL and seventh with the Baltimore Blast, has led the team in scoring the last 5 seasons. In 2017-18, he was named to the All-MASL 2nd team after recording 22 goals and 21 assists for 43 points.

Roque is entering his seventh season in the MASL, all of those with the Baltimore Blast. The 2016 MASL Finals MVP, scored 12 goals and 3 assists in the first 11 games of the 2017-18 season before being sidelined by a torn ACL.

Blast head coach, Danny Kelly, said, "Getting Tony and Lucas signed was critical for our success. They both have a great mentality, lead by example, and are game changers with their individual qualities. They're special players who are cornerstones on a team that has won 3 consecutive championships."
