Saturday, March 22nd Show Will Air at 1:30 p.m.
Please note, due to a scheduling conflict, the March 22nd episode of Baltimore Soccer - It's a Blast will air at 1:30 p.m. on WMAR Channel 2 instead of the regular 11 a.m. time slot. The show will return to its regular time next Saturday (March 29).
BLASTING INTO THE POSTSEASON...
Blast Secured 2008 Playoff Berth; Playoff Tickets on Sale Thursday
The third-place Baltimore Blast (16-9) have officially clinched a spot in the 2008 MISL postseason. Six of the nine MISL teams will advance to the playoffs with the top two seeds receiving a first-round bye. With just five regular season games remaining, the Blast is currently in third place and will battle with the Milwaukee Wave and Detroit Ignition for one of the top two spots.
Home playoff tickets will go on sale this Thursday, March 20th. Playoff tickets will cost $32, $24, $21 and $18, plus applicable fees. Playoff tickets will be available at the 1st Mariner Arena Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com, from TicketMaster at 410-547-SEAT and through the Blast office at 410-73-BLAST.
The Blast will announce the date and opponent for the first home playoff game as soon as we know it.
For the first playoff game, season ticket holders should use the Game A ticket that was included in their season ticket package.
BLAST TO HOST CHICAGO STORM ON MARCH

The Blast will play its next two games on the road before returning to 1st Mariner Arena on Saturday, March 29 to host the Chicago Storm. The team will play this Saturday night (March 22) in Chicago and next Thursday (March 27) in Monterrey before returning to Baltimore for the March 29 match against the Storm.
The 29th is mini soccer ball night and the first 2,000 kids 14 and under will receive a free mini soccer ball, courtesy of IWIF. The Blast vs. Storm game on the 29th will also be televised live on Maryland Public Television (channel 22).
The Blast will play their last home game of the season on Saturday, April 5th against the Detroit Ignition.

Baltimore Blast to Host More than 20 Sessions of Summer Soccer Camp in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area
The Baltimore Blast will offer more than 20 sessions of summer soccer camps beginning the week of June 23rd and running through August 22nd.
Most camp sessions cost $120 per camper and run from 9 a.m. to noon or 5-8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).
