Chicago Storm News Release
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. - The Chicago Storm's magic number remains at 1 to clinch a berth for the Major Indoor Soccer League playoffs. The Storm fell to the expansion New Jersey Ironmen, 10-9, on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Both teams seesawed for the lead, but it was New Jersey who had the final say by shutting out Chicago in the fourth quarter. Carlos "Chile" Farias scored three goals and seven points to lead the Storm. His second-quarter three-point goal was his first tally since a two-goal effort against California on Jan. 5.
