ON HOLIDAY

Chicago Storm players will be out and about during the July 4th holiday. You can see them at the Wilmette Youth Races on July 3, and at the Naval Base 4th of July Festival the same day.

Public appearances take place throughout the summer. Continually check our calendar for updates and information.

IT'S THE ULTIMATE

On May 22, the Xtreme Soccer League announced that the Chicagoland-based Ultimate Soccer League would be its affiliate league.

The semiprofessional league launched last year with five teams, and adds a sixth for its summer indoor season. Clubs stretch from Rockford in the west to Northwest Indiana in the east, and north to Waukegan.

The affiliation includes player and referee development, the addition of the Tormenta and Wave Armada to the league for the fall, and joint branding and sponsorship efforts.

Check out their summer schedule and see a game that's close to you soon!

ON THE GRASS

The Charleston Battery of USL-1 remain undefeated thanks to support from Storm players Dan Antoniuk and Stephen Armstrong.

Antoniuk has three points and appeared in seven of nine games for the Battery. Armstrong has played in three games. The Battery (5-0-4) are second in USL-1 with 19 points.
