Baltimore, MD - The Blast returned home to a sold out SECU Arena to face off against the Orlando Seawolves for the first time this season. In front of a crowd of 3,745 the Blast were victorious 14-5.

The energy of the crowd reflected onto the team as they came out hot scoring five goals in the first quarter. Tony Donatelli put a ball off the wall in the first minute of the game and Vini Dantas scored the game's first goal. In the last 5 minutes of the quarter, the Blast poured on four goals including three within one minute. Mohamed N'diaye, Juan Pereira, and Ibrahima Keita recorded goals before Vini Dantas scored his second goal of the quarter on a penalty shot.

The Blast offense continued to control the game in the second quarter. Sam Guernsey recorded his first goal of the season off an assist from Tony Donatelli. Seconds later, Vini Dantas would record the hat trick off his second penalty shot of the game. The Seawolves would strike for a goal but the Blast answered back with two of their own. At the 10:20 mark, Tony Donatelli recorded a goal assisted by Andrew Hoxie. Vini Dantas closed out the half with his fourth goal of the game, this one assisted by Adriano Dos Santos. At the half, the Blast led 9-1.

The teams would exchange goals in the third quarter. Eduardo Cruz scored the second Orlando goal of the night but the Ibrahima Keita answered for the Blast. Cruz would strike again at the 11:22 mark but Vini Dantas answered right back with his fifth goal of the game. The Blast went into the final quarter leading 11-3.

Orlando attempted to make a comeback in the fourth with back-to-back goals from Odaine Sinclair and Mario Alvarez but the Blast offense took over again. Jamie Thomas recorded his first goal of the season off an assist from Keita followed by Jereme Raley recording his first goal of the season as well assisted by Jonatas Melo. The Blast extended the lead to nine when Tony Donatelli recorded his second goal of the game and William Vanzela and the Blast defense shut down the Seawolves for the remainder of the game. At the final buzzer, the Blast were victorious 14-5.

The Blast saw goals from eight different players in the victory but Vini Dantas led the way with five goals and added an assist. Tony Donatelli recorded 4 points on the night with two goals and two assists. William Vanzela recorded thirteen saves on the night. The Blast return to SECU Arena next Saturday December 14th to face off against Utica City FC.
