October 21, 2016 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Baltimore Blast News Release
Baltimore, MD- Baltimore Blast President and General Manager, Kevin Healey, announced today that the team has signed defenders Jereme Raley and Jordan Becker.
Jereme Raley appeared in 12 games for the Blast last season and contributed 2 goals. The University of Maryland product will add depth to the defense in his second season. Jordan Becker is another local product out of UMBC. Becker most recently played for the Rochester Rhinos in the USL.
Head coach, Danny Kelly, said "Jereme Raley, out of UMD, and Jordan Becker of UMBC, are two solid additions to the roster. Jereme did well last season whenever he got his opportunities. He's a solid defender with good attacking qualities, and we believe he can be an impact player for us on both sides of the ball. Jordan is another solid defender who likes to get forward, and possesses a good left foot as well. We expect him to compete for a starting spot in the defensive rotation."
In addition to the signings, the Blast announced midfielder Jinho Kim was traded to the Ontario Fury for cash considerations.
Blast President and General Manager, Kevin Healey, said "Jinho had moved to California and requested a trade to a team closer to his home. We wish Kim the best of luck as he is an excellent player and person."
The Blast season kicks off November 5th in Harrisburg before the home opener Friday, November 11th at 7:35 p.m. against the Milwaukee Wave. Blast season tickets, five-game mini plans and single game tickets are on sale through the Blast office by calling 410-73-BLAST (410-732-5278).
