
Blades Welcome Warriors for Winning Wednesday

The Saskatoon Blades (6-1-1-0) and Moose Jaw Warriors (3-5-0-0) battle for the fourth time this season, and second at SaskTel Centre in The Bridge City.
Saskatoon holds a mild advantage over Moose Jaw this season, winning the previous two contests (4-3 on Oct. 16, 4-2 on Oct. 2) to hold a 2-1-0-0 record, with their lone loss coming on Oct. 1st by a 7-1 score.
Saskatoon brings a four-game winning streak into the game, and are coming off back-to-back wins over the Regina Pats over the weekend.
The Blue & Gold have also collected points in seven straight games, winning six of them, to sit comfortably in second place in the East Division with 13 points - seven back of the first-place Winnipeg ICE and five up on the Brandon Wheat Kings.
Moose Jaw heads into Saskatoon riding a three-game losing skid which began with a 4-3 loss to Saskatoon on Oct. 16.
Who to Watch
Veteran netminder Nolan Maier is the reigning WHL Goaltender of the Week after collecting back-to-back victories over Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats. The Yorkton, SK product stopped 64 of 67 combined shots to yield a 0.955 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. The pending WHL graduate sits in a three-way tie for the most wins across the WHL with five this season.
Alternate captain Kyle Crnkovic has the second longest active scoring streak across the WHL, collecting points in all eight games for a total of 12.
Belarusian forward Egor Sidorov has lit the lamp in four straight games, and continues to lead the Blades in rookie scoring with six points (4G-2A) in eight contests.
Fellow import and German forward Moritz Elias has four points in his last three games.
