
Blades Add Flynn & Berger to Hockey Operations Staff

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that Dustin Flynn has been named new Head Athletic Trainer, while Jason Berger has been named the team's new Head Equipment Manager.
Flynn comes to the Everblades after spending the past three years as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). The Lancaster, NH native served in similar roles as a graduate assistant with Cornell University, and as an intern with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League. Flynn holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College, as well as a master's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Ithaca College.
Berger joins the 'Blades after serving four years as the equipment manager for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The Philadelphia, PA native was also the assistant equipment manager for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League during the 2006-07 season. Berger is a Maximum Edge certified skate sharpener, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.
