
Blacksnakes General Manager Resigns

St. Joseph Blacksnakes News Release
St. Joseph, MO-The team's first General Manager Duane Miller has resigned from his position, citing personal reasons and is no longer with the organization. The St. Joe native's resignation comes just after the team completed their first month of play.
"We would like to thank Duane for his contribution to the Blacksnakes in our inaugural season and wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Mark Schuster, managing general partner.
Until the team brings in a new general manager, Schuster will oversee the day-to-day operations.
The Blacksnakes are 12-17 through the first month and nine games back in the North Division. St. Joe is averaging 1,531 fans per home game, which is eighth in the 10 team league.
The Blacksnakes are in El Paso for a series that begins tonight and each game of the three-game series starts at 8:05pm Central Time. The webcasts begin at 7:45pm Central with the Heartland Health Pre-Game Show at www.stjoeblacksnakes.com. Evan Thomas (2-3) starts Tuesday in the series opener against El Paso's Andy Torres (1-1).
