
Blackhawks Sign Right Wing Reed Low

CHICAGO - Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have signed right wing Reed Low to a one-year contract.
Low, 30, was originally selected by the St. Louis Blues in the seventh round (177th overall) in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
The 6'4", 227 lbs. winger spent four seasons with the Blues (2000-2004), recording three goals and 16 assists for 19 points and 694 penalty minutes. Low amassed a career-high 234 penalty minutes during the 2002-03 season.
Low played for the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL and Missouri River Otters of the UHL during the 2005-06 season. He tallied eight points (three goals, five assists) and 40 penalty minutes for Peoria and two goals and one assist for three points and 13 penalty minutes in four games for Missouri.
