Sound Tigers form Fan Advisory Board

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders, are forming a Fan Advisory Board to enable their biggest fans an opportunity to play a major role in the off-ice success and game-night excitement of Sound Tigers hockey.
A select number of fans will be chosen to join members of the Sound Tigers' staff on the Fan Advisory Board - based on interest, enthusiasm and ideas.
As a Fan Advisory Board member, Sound Tiger fans will have an opportunity to call the shots; helping us choose between-period promotions, content for the Sound Tigers' Web site and selection of giveaway items fans can look forward to at upcoming games. This is a chance to share ideas and brainstorm with fellow fans and management to make attending Sound Tiger games more enjoyable than ever.
"We want our fans to feel that they are part of our family," Sound Tigers President Howard Saffan said.
To apply for this opportunity, Sound Tiger fans should submit a brief letter (one page or less) explaining why they would like to be a Fan Advisory Board member. The letter should include their interest in making the experience of Sound Tigers' fans better and suggestions to accomplish same.
Although the Board will be limited to a select number of fans, the Sound Tigers encourage the input of all their fans through an e-mail suggestion link on the Sound Tigers Web site, soundtigers.com.
Sound Tiger fans should email fanboard@soundtigers.com or forward a letter to the Sound Tigers on or before August 31, 2006. All correspondence should be forwarded to: Fan Advisory Board, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, 600 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06604.
