Black Hawks Announce Preseason Schedule

Waterloo, Iowa - The Waterloo Black Hawks will play the first of five autumn exhibition games on the road Friday, September 13th against the Omaha Lancers, the team announced Friday.

The Hawks take the ice for all of their preseason games within the span of nine days, tuning up for the 2019/20 schedule, while making final decisions about the opening night roster. Young Arena will be the site for two of the matchups announced today. On Sunday, September 15th, Waterloo will host the Madison Capitols at 3 p.m. The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders will then visit the Black Hawks at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 20th.

All full-season Black Hawks ticket packages included these exhibition games at no additional cost in. There is still time to order season tickets, including Young Arena's new Terrace Reserved option. For more details, call the Hawks' front office at (319) 232-3444.

Single-game tickets for the preseason will go on sale from the Domino's Black Hawks Box Office on September 4th. Individual regular season seats will be available the same day.

Friday, September 13 @ Omaha Lancers 8 p.m.

Sunday, September 15 Madison Capitols 3 p.m.

Tuesday, September 17 @ Madison Capitols 7 p.m.

Friday, September 20 Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 6 p.m.

Saturday, September 21 @ Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 7 p.m.

The 2019/20 USHL regular season begins during the final days of September with the 2019 DICK'S Sporting Goods Fall Classic, held on neutral ice in the Pittsburgh area. The Black Hawks' first regular season home game will be on Saturday, October 12th against the Green Bay Gamblers.
