Black Bears to Host Russian National Team

PITTSFIELD- The Berkshire Black Bears will play an exhibition game against the Russian National Team on Friday May 16 at Wahconah Park. The game will start at 7:05pm. The Black Bears will also play an exhibition game against the Brockton Rox on Monday May 19 in Brockton. The Russian National Team toured the Northern League in 2001 and will also face Brockton, New Jersey, and Allentown on their 2003 Northeast League tour.

The Berkshire Black Bears begin their second season at Wahconah Park on June 2 against the Quebec Les Capitales. Season and individual game tickets are now on sale by calling the Berkshire Black Bears office at (413) 448-2255.
