Berkshire Black Bears News Release
PITTSFIELD- The Berkshire Black Bears announced on Thursday the signing of infielder Manny Crespo. A 2000 draft pick of the Seattle Mariners, Crespo has also spent time in the minors with the Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox. He is expected to be the starting second baseman for the 2003 season.
The Berkshire Black Bears begin their second season at Wahconah Park on June 2 against the Quebec Les Capitales.
