Black Bears and CellBucks Introduce In-Seat Service for Home Games

PITTSFIELD- The Berkshire Black Bears and CellBucks announced on Monday the unveiling of a new service that allows fans to order and pay for food, beverage, and merchandise from their cell phones and have it delivered right to their seats.

Black Bears fans can dial (413) 448-8848 to become a CellBucks member. Fans can then order food, beverages, and merchandise from menus distributed at Black Bears games. Using their cell phone, fans can just select the items they want delivered to their seat, enter their seat location, sit back, take advantage of their in-seat service and enjoy the game. To place additional orders, fans can simply call the same (413) 448-8848 and immediately begin ordering.

"I think one word says it all", said Black Bears General Manager Mike Kardamis, "Innovative". "If it's easier for our fans", adds Kardamis, "then we're all for it".

CellBucks is a mobile commerce company that has designed a worldwide system which allows consumers to quickly and easily purchase products using their cell phone. The CellBucks payment system is compatible with any type of cell phone on any cellular service provider's network.

Fans can register for free by either dialing (413) 448-8848 or go to www.CellBucks.com and provide some basic information and a credit card number. CellBucks accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Members are instantly given a personal pass code for immediate use of the CellBucks service and to ensure that ordering is completely safe. Credit cards will not be charged unless an order is placed. An e-mail detailing the day's transactions will also be sent to the customer as further confirmation of the member's account activity.

CellBucks will be available for fans seated in all box seats and grandstand sections of Wahconah Park. "We look at CellBucks as an investment in our fans", Kardamis said. "It will allow our fans the opportunity to enjoy Black Bears games in a new, enhanced way", he added. "We plan to roll out the service to the entire ballpark eventually".
